Arthur AI
Operations & Events Leadership
Project Overview
From June 2024 through August 2025, I supported Arthur AI's leadership team during a critical growth phase, providing c-level operational support while coordinating high-profile developer engagement events. Arthur AI is an AI observability and monitoring platform, and during my tenure, the company was scaling rapidly, navigating competitive market dynamics, and building developer community presence.
My role blended strategic operations (supporting executives with scheduling, communications, and initiative coordination) with event strategy and execution (planning and managing hackathons, tech week activations, and community-building experiences).
Challenge
Arthur AI operated in the high-velocity AI infrastructure space, where developer mindshare and community engagement directly impact platform adoption and competitive positioning. The organization faced several operational challenges:
Event Execution Without Systems: The company was participating in developer events (hackathons, tech weeks, networking experiences) but lacked systematic event planning frameworks, making each activation a from-scratch effort rather than a repeatable process.
Executive Capacity Constraints: Leadership was stretched across strategic priorities—product development, fundraising, partnership cultivation, competitive positioning—without sufficient operational support, leading to reactive rather than proactive decision-making.
Developer Community Building: Arthur AI needed to establish presence in developer communities (particularly during high-visibility moments like NYC Tech Week) but lacked dedicated resources for community cultivation and event coordination.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Events required coordination across multiple internal teams (DevRel, Marketing, Product, Engineering) plus external vendors, venues, and partners—without established workflows for alignment.
Strategic vs. Tactical Balance: The organization needed someone who could handle both high-level strategic support (C-level communications, sensitive initiative management) and hands-on tactical execution (event logistics, vendor coordination, day-of operations).
Strategic Approach
Developer Event Strategy & Execution
I designed and coordinated developer engagement events across multiple formats:
Hackathons: Planned and executed technical hackathons that showcased Arthur AI's platform capabilities while providing meaningful developer experiences. This included challenge design, technical resource preparation, participant recruitment, judging coordination, and day-of event management.
NYC Tech Week Activations: Coordinated Arthur AI's presence during NYC Tech Week, a high-visibility moment in the developer community. This involved venue selection and booking, event programming, partnership cultivation with other tech companies and communities, promotional strategy, and logistics management.
Community Happy Hours: Organized informal networking experiences designed to build relationships with developers, AI practitioners, and potential users. These events required different planning considerations—venue selection that encouraged conversation, timing optimization, invitation targeting, and facilitation that balanced structure with organic connection.
Event Operations Systems Building
Beyond individual event execution, I worked to create repeatable event operations frameworks. This included vendor relationship development (so we weren't starting from scratch each time), event planning templates, budget management processes, and post-event evaluation systems that captured learnings for future improvements.
Executive Operations Support
I provided strategic operational support to leadership, managing:
Scheduling & Coordination: Complex calendar management across global stakeholder timezones, meeting preparation and briefing materials, and strategic prioritization of leadership time allocation.
C-Level Communications: Drafting and managing sensitive communications with executives, investors, partners, and key stakeholders, ensuring messaging aligned with strategic objectives.
Initiative Management: Coordinating cross-functional strategic initiatives, tracking progress, identifying blockers, and facilitating resolution without requiring constant executive attention.
Operational Workflows: Building internal processes that improved team collaboration, communication efficiency, and execution velocity.
Strategic Liaison Role
I served as connector between leadership vision and team execution, translating strategic objectives into operational plans, identifying resource needs and gaps, and facilitating alignment across functions without creating bureaucratic overhead.
